Toxic chemicals called “phthalates” can harm babies’ brain development and were found in macaroni and cheese powder! LDA is part of a coalition that just launched a campaign asking Kraft to get toxic chemicals called “phthalates” (the “ph” is silent) out of its products. Laboratory testing found phthalates in eight out of nine Kraft products tested, and found higher levels of phthalates in all brands of mac n cheese.
