Join us for Our Supporting Students with LD in the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE) Webinar

The Michigan Department of Education Office of Special Education will provide an overview and clarifications of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) requirements for educating students with disabilities in the least restrictive environment (LRE) including looking closely at the obligations for a continuum of alternate placements. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to review and discuss aspects of case examples to increase their understanding of considerations needed to be made by Individualized Education Program (IEP) Teams when making placement decisions for students.
