LD Network for Educators

Students with learning disabilities are the largest group of students with disabilities and most spend 80% or more of their school days in the general education classroom yet many teachers do not feel prepared to support these learners in their classrooms. If this is you, you are not alone! Connect with other educators through our LD Network, an online chat room once a month sponsored by LDA of Michigan.

Our new LD Network for Educators will meet the first Monday of each month from 4:30 – 5:30 pm on Zoom. The Network is open to all educators who support students with dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, and related learning profiles (so pretty much any teacher, tutor, interventionist, reading specialist, or person who instructs children!).

In February, we will be focusing on special education funding. How does special education funding impact you and your students? How might the MI Blueprint make funding more equitable and effective?  What do you want to know about how funding works for IEPs and related services? Join us on February 2 for this conversation!

Registration is required to receive Zoom access information so RSVP today!
